SUB-PROJECTS

The railway infrastructure is linked to a large number of additional projects. These include: A telecommunications project - the connection of the regions with a fiber optic cable as a backbone for internet access and fast world-class IT systems, telephone services and a project to develop the energy supply for the railway itself and the vicinity of the railway corridors through biomass power plants and solar systems, such as also other green energy systems. Also:

• A project to develop warehouses and intermodal dry ports.

• A project for the development of business parks and industrial settlements.

• A real estate company for the development and marketing of train stations and associated infrastructure, such as shopping centers and parking lots.

• Comprehensive service and support projects for supply and maintenance of the railway infrastructure, rolling stock and ancillary systems, also with local companies.

• The operation of a security company for the internal security of the railway system together with the national railway police.

• A company for the integration of regional start-ups.

• An educational and cultural foundation that also cooperates with the Academy of Arts, universities and local artists.

• Cooperation with local and international NGOs, including in the area of eliminating disadvantages for minorities, integrating tribal culture and supporting education and training.

• The integration of hospitals and clinics.
